Hello All-

A little short on advanced notice this time but potentially of interest to
NDE professionals in our neighborhood is the Non-Destructive Evaluation
(NDE) Methods for Inspecting the Integrity of Composite Structures Used in
the Offshore Oil Industry Symposium. The Offshore Technology Research
Center of Texas A&M University will be cosponsoring a symposium to advance
the application of NDE methods for offshore composite structures used in the
oil industry in Houston Texas, November 21 2002, with the U.S. Minerals
Management and Service Agency. The workshop will highlight relevant NDE
technologies for determining fitness for service of such structures as
production and drilling risers, tendons and mooring ropes, spoolable pipe,
FRP pipe, gratings, and other components used or proposed for offshore oil
industry operations.

A more complete description of the workshop is available at
http://www.netcomposites.com/calendar_details.asp?173. For more
information, visit the OTRC website at http://otrc.tamu.edu/ or email
dmeador@otrc.tamu.edu.

Regards,
Chris
