Hello All,

Thanks to everybody who's provided information on finding written
documentation on using densitometers. In case anyone was wondering,
here's what you've come up with so far.

The best general reference seems to be ASTM E1079, "Standard Practice
for Calibration of Transmission Densitometers." That, in combination
with Kodak's Radiography Manual available online at
http://www.kodak.com/US/en/business/aim/industrial/ndt/literature/radiography/
, MIL Standard MIL-D-55212A, and the USAF's NDT Manual available online
at http://www-ext.tinker.af.mil/tild/ seems to cover most of the topic
fairly well.

Thanks again to everyone that've offered their suggestions on this
inquiry. Radiography's not my specialty so it's great to have access to
the real experts out there.

Best regards,
Chris
