Texas Research Institute in Austin, Texas, has an immediate opening for
a mid-level Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) Scientist/Engineer.
Responsibilities will include direct project work addressing a broad
array of NDE problems for US Federal Agency customers. Additional
responsibilities will include proposal writing, project management, and
revenue generation. Prospective candidates should have a background in
NDE and familiarity with a variety of different NDE techniques and their
applications.
The successful candidate will be expected to assist in developing and
implementing NDE technologies for commercial and government
applications. The candidate must have good communication skills, be a
self-starter and enjoy working in a team environment. At least five
years of experience in NDE is required, along with at least a B.S.
degree in physics, materials science, mechanical engineering, or
aerospace engineering. Industrial, federal agency, or military
experience is a plus. US Citizenship is mandatory. Please email or fax
