Hello All,

Although STINET (Scientific and Technical Information Network) has been
available for some time now, I only noticed this past week that most of
NTIAC's database is searchable from the public interface at
http://stinet.dtic.mil/index.html . Some of the database isn't
available to the general public, the STINET Frequently Asked Questions
(FAQ) page at http://stinet.dtic.mil/help/index.html#dist-state has more
information. Still, the vast majority of the database is searchable,
and full PDFs are available for some documents as well. NTIS
(http://www.ntis.gov/ ) and CISTI
(http://cisti-icist.nrc-cnrc.gc.ca/main_e.html ) can help with providing
full copies for the others.

I haven't had the opportunity to explore the search capabilities fully
but it looks as though the interface is fairly self-explanatory. It
might be worth a look if you've ever wanted to do your own NTIAC
search. Or search through other IAC holdings, for that matter.

Regards,
Chris
